Residents waved glowing wands, turned up the music and worked together to keep a balloon in the air. The room was filled with laughter, movement and a light show of its own!

Day two of Caregiver Conference was packed from start to finish!
Our caregivers heard from DcMickan, Positive Note Music Therapy, LLC and Alex Demczak, each bringing a unique perspective that resonated in different ways. There were moments of laughter, moments of reflection and conversations that continued long after the sessions ended.
We then had the privilege of celebrating seven outstanding caregivers during our Caregiver Awards ceremony. These team members represent the very best of Americare in the way they care for residents, support their coworkers and make a difference in their communities every day.
To all our caregivers: thank you for the countless lives you touch through your care and dedication. Today was a powerful reminder of just how much heart lives in our communities, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you. 💛

The 2026 Americare Caregiver Conference is officially underway! 🎉
Day one kicked off with smiles, excitement and a little shopping at the Americare Boutique – filled with purses, bags, wallets, candles, lotions, books and more. 🛍️
Caregivers then came together for an opening session with President and COO Michael Hammond before heading out for an evening of food, laughter and some friendly competition. 🏓
But more than anything, today was about connection. Caregivers shared stories, built new friendships and spent time with people who truly understand the work they do.
